Package Delivery - Shipping and Logistics DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS AD IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL OF THE STATED REQUIREMENTS Route Driver - FedEx Ground Privately owned company that has contracts with FedEx Ground to deliver and pick up packages out of the Santa Fe, NM FedEx Ground Terminal We are looking for drivers to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences. Starting Salary at $16.50 and hour with time and a half overtime. This employer offers Paid vacation after probationary period and paid holidays This employer offers a stop bonus program. This business type has need for full and part-time drivers to fill various schedules. Requirements, Driver must: MUST BEABLE TO WORK a Saturday and Sunday as FedEx is 7 Days a week no exceptions! 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 3 years (any driving done as part of a job where payment was received from a business -- Uber, construction, landscaping, food delivery, etc.) Be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturday and Sunday as needed. be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (including no cell phone citations or DWI convictions). No speeding ticket in excess of 15 MPH over the posted speed limit. be able to read, speak and write English pass a drug test, and DOT physical be able to complete and pass a road test be of legal status to work in the USA, we E-Verify be able to safely lift/move up to 150 lbs with a hand truck pass FedEx Ground approval process to become a qualified driver have reliable transportation to and from work be on site at the terminal on time and ready to work each work day be able to climb stairs be able to work in all types of weather be able to work when it gets dark be able to do a lot of walking at a steady pace be able to adapt to situations to meet customers’ needs know the importance of safety Daily Duties include but not limited to: Daily routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are drivers will routinely carry over 100 stops a day depending on area.
