Kennel Operator (Part Time) Graveyard Kennel operator (Part Time/ Full Time) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following: -Responsible for areas around kennel to be clean during the evening/overnight shift -Disinfects all outside kennels and facility common areas during the shift to prep for next days operations. Required to document and take pictures of grounds when the shift is complete to notify AM shift personnel that tasks have been complete -Performs pre-checkout tasks for any animals going home first thing in the morning the next day. Washing and bathing animals not required as they will be sleeping but client dog belongings being gathered up and set ready for Go-Home bag -Responsible for handling animals needing to go to the bathroom during overnight hours -Perform inventory check on cleaning supplies and report to Admin on communication platform to order and handle -Cut treats as needed and on-demand for training preparation the next day (perform at end of shift) -Clean-up of any training tooling and equipment daily and store in proper assigned areas. Report all repairs needed to Head Trainer or ownership -Responsible for ensuring all e-collars and other electronic equipment requiring charging is placed on charging equipment each day to ready for the next day -Monitors grounds and documents happenings as required to management for next day review -As business and clientele grow tasks and responsibilities will change -Other duties as assigned. Maintenance and Specialty Cleaning -Maintenance and specialty cleaning of facility common areas but avoiding areas dogs are sleeping -Wipe down outside kennels and baskets with towels and water and remove all hair and other debris from kennel -Perform all laundry for animals daily and as required -Vacuum and sweep around kennels and ensure during day area is kept clean -Wash outside bowls and disinfect – water and food -Feces pick up is the responsibility of the overnight kennel operator. Team Leader/Supervisor (Full Time) Role is a critical function of the facility operations and the main sections where training and boarding take place at a Devotion to Dogs facility. Responsible for ensuring facility organization and kennels are set up, cleaned, and functioning at optimum levels daily. Duties also include dog walking and handling the movement of animals from one area to another on schedules or on demand as per trainers or ownership. Provides support to ensure all prepping for trainers are completed prior to arrival of training team as well as execute on demand support as needed during all hours of the day. The hours for this role will be – nights, weekends, holidays as well as some on call. Main Roles Working with management and trainers to ensure that all dogs are being trained properly and following the guidelines of the head trainer Being able to train new employees Responsible for kennel cleanliness at all times and main operator of kennels during business operation hours Creates profile for all dogs incoming and responsible for ensuring all documentation is properly kept, so DTD value is recognized through paperwork Prepare incoming and outgoing animals by performing duties such as washing dogs, cleaning personal kennel, gathering of dog personal items and packaging professionally for client/owner Provides support to training team on an administrative level from paperwork organization and collection of reports at the end of day Responsible for summarizing and organizing daily reports from training and kennel personnel to prepare for review by Ownership and Head Trainer Ensuring that DTD policies and procedures are being followed to the proper standard Able to follow direction and communicate efficiently Oversee all daily operations Again if you are interested in any of these positions please fill out an application on Indeed
