Description

Cat Rescue and Adoption Network (CRAN) is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Since inception, we have saved over 4000 cats and found them wonderful, loving homes. We currently have multiple volunteer positions to fit every interest and comfort level. Here are just a few current openings: 1. Foster - Provide a temporary home with tender loving care as a vital part of socialization necessary for successful adoptions. In return, CRAN provides food, litter and all medical expenses. Needs range from kittens through senior cats coming from a wide variety of sources (stray, hoarding, owner abandonment, feral, etc.) for time periods as short as a few days to several month. If interested, fill out an online foster application at www.catrescues.org/forms. 2. Adoptable Cat Binder (South Eugene) - This volunteer role is responsible to keep our adoptable cat binder up to date at PetSmart on Willamette. As cats become available for adoption or get adopted, you will add or remove a cat bio from the bio. Must have access to a printer or be willing to go to Office Depot for printing (this is paid for by the rescue). It's simple work, but really helps get cats adopted! Approximately 2 hrs/week. 3. Socializing and Cat Care - In July or August, we will re-open our PetSmart cattery locations and need volunteers to care for the adoptable cats. Other locations are already open and we are actively recruiting volunteers. If you'd like to volunteer, we have a role for you! First step is to submit a volunteer application and our volunteer coordinator will work with you to find a position that fits your time and interests. To submit a volunteer application, please visit www.catrescue.org/volunteer. Thank you for your support!
