Are you wanting to learn about wedding coordination and planning? You may just be the perfect fit! I am a boutique wedding planner/coordinator based in North Hollywood looking to add two talented individuals to assist with wedding day coordination.
Events can occur anywhere within the greater Los Angeles area and occasionally beyond to Los Angeles (usually no more than 2 hours in any direction) so reliable transportation is a MUST! You will be compensated for any event occurring further than 50 miles from North Hollywood.
Requirements:
-College degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
-Detail oriented
-Able to handle high pressure situations
-Proficient in Microsoft office
-Reliable transportation
-Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday)
-Able to work up to 12 hours at a time on event days
-Able to lift up to 40 lbs
-Impeccable problem solving
-Experience in design
-Must be a team player & take direction well
Preferred:
-ABC certified
-Food handlers license
-Service industry experience
-Bilingual (Spanish preferred, but any language in addition to English is a huge plus!!)
-Wedding experience
-Expert crafter
Responsibilities:
-Assist Lead Coordinator with all day-of tasks to make the day run smoothly
-Assist with decor set-up
-Assist with decor breakdown
-Coordinate with vendors to ensure things are running according to plan
There is room to grow in this position! Assistants who excel will be considered for Lead Coordinator roles as they become available.
