Job Title: Construction Laborers/Cable Pullers Location: Papillion, NE (Facebook Data Centers) Shift: Day work/1st shift - Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts. 7 AM start time. We are hiring candidates IMMEDIATELY. Duration: Longterm. Contract to Perm. It will take 15+ years to complete this project at Facebook. Starting Pay Rate: $18/HR for Construction Laborers. Pay increases depending on how much voice/data experience a candidate has. Our client provides the resources necessary for their team members to excel and reach their career goals in the communications industry. They install voice/data networks in commercial buildings and at data centers. This position is an entry-level opportunity with a well-established low voltage integrator who works at many large sites all over the country. This is a great way to get into the low voltage field and grow your experience. Job Responsibilities: (you do not need to have experience with all of the following) Pulling cat 5e/cat 6 cable in a new construction environment Testing fiber cables with Fluke testers Build out MDF/IDFs Installation of wireless access points (WAP's) Install J Hooks, D-rings, cable tray, and other cable supports Reading blueprints and schematics Requirements: (We are hiring individuals of varying experience levels. This position provides training for lower level candidates who at least have experience working in the construction field but we are also looking for experienced Cable Techs). Prior experience pulling some sort of cables or electrical wires Ability to climb ladders Able to work from boom/scissor lifts Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. Must have steel toed boots or composite boots
