Busy Feet Childcare has the following learning opportunities open! 1- infant opening 1- toddler opening 2- three year old openings 2- prek openings We are a Step Up to Quality Provider Accepting Title XX Limited Scholarship funding available Licensed in the State of Nebraska Over 60 years combined experience Enrolled on the Federal Food Program Experiencing second generation children Busy Feet Childcare is licensed to care for children ages 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm daily. At Busy Feet we believe in our motto "A Person is a Person no Matter How Small." Our curriculum is based on our fun weekly themes. We then integrate activities to help our children learn the numbers, letters, shapes, colors, basic math and writing skills according to the standards before kindergarten. Each of our rooms is arranged with a small motor area, large motor area, dramatic play area, and circle time area. Our school age children also follow our themes. There are outings for all children age 3 and above, and many special activities planned to keep the older children busy and entertained as well. We provide help with homework after school. Each of our staff has taken training in social and emotional development. These skills help us teach today's children to make lasting friendships and relationships as well as understand their own emotions and the emotions of peers. All staff is required to complete CPR/First Aid training, pass criminal history checks, become trained in health and safety and complete mandatory trainings on child abuse reporting, shaken baby, and SIDs as well as all Early Learning Guideline standards to prepare for school. Each staff member is required to obtain a minimum of 12 hours or training yearly. At Busy Feet all of these trainings are displayed for each of our families to view.
