Job Description Loveland Logistics LLC is looking for enthusiastic, team players to deliver for a national technology company. Delivery Associates strive to get every order to the customer’s door on-time. Be prepared for a physical job with 5 to 10 miles of activity daily. We offer full and part-time opportunities. No CDL Required! Approximate hours are 10:30 am to 9:00 pm. Shifts range between approximately 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week. Duties and Responsibilities Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times. Use hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information. Navigate a variety of routes throughout delivery area SAFELY Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers. Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation Lift packages up to 50 lbs. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift SAFELY drive and perform inspections on company vehicle; follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and company policies USE smart phone device for GPS Navigations, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirement such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members LOAD AND UNLOAD packages in delivery vehicle Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue call when other team members need assistance with their routes 4-day (10 hour) or 5-day (8-hour) options available for full-time weekend work is expected Compensation & Benefits Paid weekly ($17.50-18/hr) Paid Training Paid Overtime Paid Time Off - Paid time off begins accruing immediately at start of employment. Flexible Scheduling Basic Requirements: Authorized to work in the U.S At least 21 years of age Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (includes marijuana). Able to pass a 7 year criminal background check and 7 year motor vehicle history report (speeding tickets are fine) Valid drivers license Must have good English speaking, reading, writing /communications skills Equipment Provided: Delivery Vehicle & gas, handheld technology, uniforms, and other safety and administrative gear necessary to job accomplishment HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1 week to complete. Our new Dodge ProMaster vans don't require any additional licenses, but you should be a strong defensive driver and very comfortable with a full sized vehicle. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (but most packages are much lighter) and able to get in and out of the van throughout the day. Must be at least 21 years old with a valid drivers license. Delivery experience a plus. Clean driving record, background check and drug screen (includes marijuana) required. No convictions, deferred sentences or convictions in past 7 years. No at-fault (ticketed) accidents in past 7 years. The Delivery Station (DDE8) is located at 4555 E. 37th St., Loveland, CO, 80538. All drivers should have dependable transportation to get to work. This will be a tough job: · You will be driving a large Dodge Ram Promaster 3500 cargo van (not as big as FedEx or UPS, but still big) · You will be loading approximately 250 packages into the van - some as heavy as 50 pounds · You will be driving for ~10 hours per day, this will be faster as you become experienced · You will be stopping and getting out of, and back into, the van 200-400 times per day · You will be using technology to guide your route through GPS and deliver packages · You will encounter problems and need to be a problem solver (with resources for help!) · You will find imperfect routing and occasionally need to out-think the system to find addresses · You may experience chaos at times :) · Your attitude and performance will determine how many shifts per week you work · We operate 361 days out of the year, 7 days per week, starting somewhere around 7 am · We operate in the hot, cold, rain and snow (when safely possible - which will be almost all days) · Our commitment to our client and customers requires dedicated people who will show up when scheduled We are honest about these conditions because we promised we would be transparent.
