Now seeking Finish Carpenter/Millworker in Austin, Texas! Responsibilities: Install custom retail fixtures and architectural millwork for top retailers and commercial environments. Potential candidates must pass our pre-employment screening process, which includes drug testing, motor vehicle review, and background check. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license. Job Requirements: • Required: 2+ years’ experience installing Solid Surface, Stone, Vanity Tops, Commercial Doors & Hardware, Architectural Woodwork, Building Specialties (Bathroom Partitions, Toilet room accessories, Grab Bars, Wall Protection, Hand Rails, Etc.), High End Custom Wall Panels, Metal Casework, and Fume Hoods • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools( powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.) • Highly preferred: Knowledgeable with AWI standards • Cut, shape, and fabricate wood and other material according to measurements • Read blueprints, drawing, and sketches to fully grasp project requirements Pay: • Up to $24.18/hr. • Candidate will be expected to work 40-50 hours a week. • No per diem available. Qualifications: • Presents and maintains a professional appearance and demeanor • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and safely lift heavy materials for up to 8-10 hours a day. • Must be willing to work overtime as needed • Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints, sketches, building plans, and other specifications. • Must have strong commitment to job safety.
