Description
This tank has been running for about 14 months now, with very little regular maintenance. I vacuum the sand and do a 40% water change once a month. Top off as needed. I haven't used any additives to condition water since getting it going.
There's a large variety of live plants. Over a dozen kinds.
Anachris, Hornwort, Anubias, Cardinalis, Moneywort, Duckweed, Frogsbit, Java Fern, Marimo Moss balls (no mussell invasion and always watered gardens w tank water), Java Moss, Temple Compacta, Compacts Amazon, and another small bushing variety.
There are breeding AND berried Neocardinia Cherry shrimp, along with a few Ghost shrimp. Various grades and coloration of Neocardinia shrimp. Orange, blue, yellow, red, and a combination of those colors.
Male and female guppies, along with guppy fry.
2 Panda Corydoras, 1 albino, 6 Peppered, & 4 regular. These guys have been breeding and laying lots of fertile eggs.
3 Otocinculus, one of which looks like it's got eggs.
3 breeding pairs of White Cloud minnows
Handful of Neon-Tetras
And also a small group of Assassin Snails - which have slowly eradicated the pest snails.
And a whole lot of extra supplies for this ecosystem.
What this tank does not have : adequate filtration and/or lights. No hood to this aquarium. Will include the sponge filter and cheap lights if interested. Lots of plant growth even with mediocre lighting.
I'm 6 months pregnant, so I will dissect the aquarium for the move but you will need a buddy to help move the stand and all the components.
Pickup in Sunbright, Tennessee.
$450 OBO for everything and everyone
Will quickly mention that this aquarium will pay for itself if you sell live plant clippings. Which there is a market for, especially if you ship.
