We are searching for a dependable WAREHOUSE SHIPPING/RECEIVING ASSOCIATE for a well-known party supplies manufacturing company in SPRINGFIELD, OR. This role involves performing various warehouse activities such as receiving, loading/unloading products, minor inventory, organizing stock, and inspecting products for defects while reporting damages as needed. Monday – Friday -- DAY SHIFT 8a-4:30p Rate of Pay: $14--16 to start, depending on experience – WEEKLY PAY! Duties: --Operate various vehicles (ie: Electric Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, etc) for storage or movement of materials. --Use RF Scanner to pull and distribute parts inventory to production lines, to include recording of materials in warehouse. Prepare products and materials for shipment. Load, unload, and stage products and materials. --Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed; cycle counting & physical inventory --Safe, timely, and accurate receipt of incoming items ordered and appropriately placed in specified areas of the warehouse (both from within company departments and outside vendors). Requirements: --Must be able to frequently stand, bend, lift, and reach to perform necessary job functions and tolerate repetitive work. Must also be able to occasionally lift up to 40lbs. --Basic math skills in order to accurately assess and maintain inventory. --Previous forklift experience required. --Solid communication skills, as you will interact with many people, including suppliers, supervisors, employees, so it's important to be a strong, detailed communicator in order for things to run smoothly. --Problem-solving skills, as shipments often have issues that result in the need to research, escalate, and resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
