About the Position: Our housekeeping position main goal is keeping and maintaining a clean comfortable hotel. Making sure the building meets any housekeeping sanitation requirements and provides a comfortable space for guest or employees. Essential Job Functions Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks Making beds and changing linens Washing windows Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry Ironing clothing items Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste Steaming and cleaning draperies Tidying up rooms Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements Qualifications Trustworthy and dependable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline and detail-oriented Must be able to pass a background check, and complete a drug test Education, Experience & Skills High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) is required. Benefits and Perks Paying: $14.00. Hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Weekend availability needed. No set schedule (overtime pay) Temp to hire position.
