ABOUT: Gates Four Golf and Country Club, located in Fayetteville, NC within the Gates Four community is hiring for seasonal lifeguards. POSITION: Lifeguard (Summer 2020) II. DEPARTMENT: Aquatics III. JOB SUMMARY: Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of Club members and guests by providing a safe and clean environment, preventing and responding to emergencies, and offering a fun and best in class member experience. IV. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lifeguards must always be ready for any potential risk in the water. Employees are expected to be equipped to react immediately when the occasion arises. You must be prepared to respond to an immediate situation in the pool. • Lifeguards are responsible for the safety and maintenance of the pool during the scheduled working hours. Each guard will position himself/herself while on duty so that the pool can be observed while maintaining maximum vision of swimmers. • Lifeguards are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the general pool area, and are expected...
