We have an immediate opening for the right candidates for the position of: Fire Safety Equipment Field Technician. Requirements: Mechanical aptitude- Washington State Driver License with a good driving record Must be a US Citizen Pre-employment background screening Willing to take a drug test What the position entails: We are a small business providing fire and safety equipment service to commercial businesses in Western Washington. Experience in Fire Extinguisher Servicing. If you have any Restaurant Hood System experience that is highly desired but not required to apply. If no experience we will train the right applicant. Hours will be full time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm Out-of-area travel as needed will be mandatory on certain occasions. This would be going to areas out of your service territory assigned to you. It doesn't happen a lot but there are times this will occur (Usually no farther than 2 hours away from home travel time) We provide a service truck, gas and tools WHAT WE WANT: *Someone who likes to work with a team but can also excel on their own in a fast paced environment *Someone who can communicate effectively and is personable *Someone with good memory retention *Someone who is open to taking direction and learning *Someone who can be on their feet for long periods of time *Someone who is mechanically inclined and good with hand tools *Good physical ability and able to lift 20+ pounds consistently *Ability to travel / Spend the night occasionally near job-site *Ability to safe keep a service vehicle at your residence *Pre-employment drug screening required *Excellent opportunity for those wanting to grow with a company long term Compensation: * $17 - $18 per hour DOE + Commissions. Commissions will bring your hourly to $25-$30 if you work hard and smart * Ability to make additional compensation with commissions and year end bonus *Company Uniforms provided and vehicle during working hours *401K Retirement Program *Medical allowance after six months. *Company paid travel for work and training Please email resume.
