The Service Adviser position is responsible for a positive customer experience for each of our guests. Service Advisers ensure guests are satisfied with our services while meeting business goals and profitability. As an independent business, our team members share a variety of responsibilities with the overall goal of delivering the best service possible to our customers. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and prompt manner. Listen carefully to customers to clearly understand what their concerns are in their vehicle. Communicate with customers to determine the vehicle's needs and concerns. Obtain customer and vehicle information, enter all info into repair software Promote the sale of labor, parts, and accessories in a consultative manner during initial drop-off and over the phone after vehicle inspections. Note exact repair instructions on the repair order listing the main concern first, then other concerns in priority order. Give estimates for services and repair at the time of drop-off or by phone after inspection. Gain approval from customers on all repairs and services before starting work. Maintain communication with customers to set proper expectations of costs and time required or services and repairs. Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business. Deliver vehicle to the customer and answer any questions. Job requirements: Prior service adviser experience Have a valid California Driver's License Legible handwriting Relevant computer skills/having worked with automotive software Have a passion for customer service Be coach-able and willing to learn Excellent appearance and good verbal communication skills
