Birmingham South Rv Park in Pelham, AL is looking for one full-time general maintenance worker to join our team. We are located at 222 Hwy 33. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. Well-organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job.Responsibilities· Cleaning of facilities and maintaining the swimming pool, etc.· Perform maintenance throughout the property, general plumbing, basic electrical repairs, some landscaping, and tree trimming.· Painting, drywall, installations, remodeling, carpentry projects, etc.· Repair equipment or electrical appliances.· Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs as needed· Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. broken or leaking water pipes).· Identify and report the need for repairs· Dispense Propane· Operate tractor, skid steer, or other small construction equipment.Qualifications· Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance work.· Experience with hardware, power tools, and electrical equipment.· Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.· Basic math skills.· Good communication ability.· Well-organized and apt in problem-solving.· Attention to detail and ability to multitask.· High school diploma or equivalent.We are looking forward to receiving your application.
