Janitor will clean and provide upkeep for the site, keep inventory of cleaning supplies, operate cleaning equipment, and any other duties relevant to the Janitor position. Pay for this will be $9/hr. - $11/hr. depending on experience. This is a Part Time position with a max of 30 hours per week. Times of shifts to be between 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday Janitor Job Duties • Clean and disinfect various surfaces within a building or space. • Sweep and mops floors. • Vacuum floors • Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenishes supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels • Respond to urgent situations, such as spills, that require quick action. • Order cleaning supplies and equipment and always maintains an appropriate stock. • Mix liquids and solvents from basic materials to create effective cleaning supplies. • Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuums and floor cleaners. • Collect and remove trash from a building or space • Make minor repairs as necessary, including tasks such as changing light bulbs • Notify supervisor when major repairs, including structural issues or highly skilled tasks, are required • Clean and disinfect kitchen area and replenishes supplies such as soap, and paper towels • Maintain a level of security in a building, such as locking doors, storing keys, and using access codes for restricted areas and rooms • Perform outdoor upkeep as necessary, maintaining entrances and walkways Qualifications for Janitor • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies • Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations • Attention to detail • Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments • Ability to follow directions from a supervisor • Ability to demonstrate professionalism • Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team • Must have reliable transportation, and be able to pass Background and Drug Test
