A Democratic campaign in southeast Queens is hiring canvassers to talk with voters ahead of the June 22nd primary. $18/hr, $21/hr for drivers. 4 hour shifts, looking for at least 4 shifts per week, more can be offered. Canvassers would be responsible for knocking a certain number of doors each day, working from 4-8 during the week, and 12-4 on weekends. Scheduling is flexible. Applicants must be on-time, available for the full shift, professional, and respectful. The position includes a brief paid orientation. Those hired will be expected to: - Wear campaign material, - Distribute campaign literature, - Educate voters about the campaign Part-time, Temporary Pay: $18.00 per hour/ $21 per hour for drivers
