D is for Doggy is looking for a dog handler. This person will be in the room with the dogs supervising and playing with them. It's a hands-on position that requires you to give our dogs a lot of love and attention, but for the right person this is a fun and fulfilling position. The ideal candidate has a passion for dogs and their well-being. We are looking for someone who can: • Be very attentive to the dogs' needs • Be on time for all shifts • Watch, clean up after, take pictures, and interact with dogs. A big part of the position is keeping the room clean. Have to be ok with getting down and dirty. • Be extremely responsible - these are live animals that will be in your care • Flexible with schedule -- availability on weekends and holidays is required • Feel comfortable handling dogs of all sizes • Feed dogs and administer medication according to instructions • Take dogs for walks as needed.
