Singer/ Songwriter/ guitarist mid 20s seeking collaborators. I have been playing guitar for 10 years and piano and bass off and on. I have over a dozen songs in varying degrees of completion and would like to jam with people to start finishing them off. I'm based in Williamsburg and don't have a practice space atm but we can find one or just do a chill jam in my living room to start. Only looking for people in their 20s also. Influences include: Galaxie 500, Wilco, George Harrison, Gene Clarke, Whitney, Neil Young, Beck, Adam Green, Spacemen 3, Velvet Underground, Damien Jurado, The Smiths, Paul Weller, Marvin Gaye, My Morning Jacket, The Pretenders, Oasis, Slowdive, Van Morrison, Father John Misty, Foxygen, The Byrds, Gram Parsons, Flying Burrito Brothers, Bob Dylan, Serge gainsbourg, Beach Boys, Tom Petty, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Dean Wareham, Ron Wood, Grateful Dead, Weyes Blood, Cut worms, Scott Walker While I like all these artists, if I listen to my own songs I think in kind of sounds like a more melodic Wilco or something (lol). Really open to take it in any direction though I play mainly jazzmaster and jaguar or acoustic atm with medium sized pedalboard. This is all I really want to do so at least be semi serious. hmu if you dig a few of these bands and are interested. maybe list your name, the bands you like and how long you've played your instrument and location. and if you want me to just try out for your band i'm down for that too.
