Description
June Farms & The Hot Yoga Spot are teaming up for Goat Yoga this Summer! June Farms + The Hot Yoga Spot are partnering up again this spring to bring you the super-popular, Goat Yoga! Your weekend ticket includes 1 beer, wine, or hard cider (or lemonade, iced tea, coffee) for your refreshment after class! This Yoga class takes place down in our goat pasture. Our 6 Nigerian Dwarf goats will be playing around you throughout your class and may jump on your back while exercising. This class is open to yogis of all levels of practice. Goat Yoga takes place rain or shine. If it is raining, we will move the class up under the Event Tent. Sorry, our goats won't be able to join you under the event tent, but you're welcome to play with them after class down in the goat pasture - and visit all the other happy animals on our farm! This ticket also includes parking and general admission to the farm. You can also use our bathroom/shower barn to get ready or shower after class. Food will be available for a la carte purchase at the Snack Bar beginning at 11am. When arriving at June Farms, please arrive a few minutes EARLY and meet the rest of your class by the Snack Bar to check in. Check-in by providing the last name of the purchaser. Your teacher will begin the walk down to the yoga pasture PROMPTLY at the start time of your class. You can view more of our events at June Farms and check out the Hot Yoga Spot on Facebook! BYO mat, please! PS - The goats get hungry in the mornings and may munch on your mat. We reccommend purchasing a cheap mat from Walmart/Amazon that you won't miss if part of it becomes goat breakfast! We do have bottles of water for sale. Goat Yoga is a 21+ event. June Farms is a charming, small farm located on 120 acres in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. We specialize in working with “heritage breeds”, traditional livestock breeds that were raised by our ancestors centuries ago. All of our animals are pasture raised, they have access to plenty of fresh grass, and they are treated with love and respect. In addition to our livestock program, we also offer lodging in our beautiful cabins, giving you the opportunity to see how wonderful it is to live & work on a small farm. If interested, we can teach you how to work with Shire Horses, rotate cattle on pasture, or simply enjoy the company and the positive energy that comes with being surrounded by fresh air and healthy, happy animals.
