I need to rehome my 1 year old german shepherd mix. He is black and white and about 50lbs. His name is Mulder and he is a very sweet boy but shy at first. He is apprehensive of new people at first and needs introduced slowly. He gets along with other dogs and is good with kids and babies. He isn’t great with cats. He will chase them. He needs a home with constant access to a yard with plenty of space to run and play. It’s a plus if you have a friend for him to play with as he has some separation anxiety. He loves to play with other dogs and people. He has food allergies and can’t have anything with chicken. He eats a low ingredient, chicken free dry food. He is also kennel trained and knows some basic commands. He is very smart and easy to train. He is very food motivated. He will come with his large kennel, the rest of his food, harness, leashes and toys. He is also up to date on shots and is neutered. He is a really great dog and it breaks my heart to do this but I recently had twins and we are unable to afford a house now. Our apartment is too small and it’s unfair to him to keep him. I need to know he is going to a loving home with experienced owners so he won’t be going to just anyone. If Mulder sounds like a good fit for your home, please contact me via email.
