Join the Lemont Junior Woman's Club & the Lemont Township for the First Annual Blooms & Blues event at the Lemont Township Community Center For the past 27 years the Lemont Junior Woman’s Club, a non-for-profit 501(c)3 organization, has supported the greater Lemont Community by conducting award winning safety programs, recognizing young adult volunteer efforts through our scholarship program, providing needed funding for local food pantries, as well as volunteer services. Our community legacy is our LJWC Park and Lemont Safety Village, a building used by many community organizations when not in use for our safety programs. In the last five years alone, LJWC has awarded nearly $90,000 in funding for community grants and scholarships. This year’s fundraising event will aid us in the continuation of providing financial and volunteer support to educational, civic and philanthropic efforts that enrich the lives of citizens within our community. The goal of our efforts is to help fulfill the basic needs of Lemont citizens of all ages with an emphasis on children, who are the future of our community. Come out and admire Lemont's beautiful prairie while you enjoy beer and wine provided by BTB wines, food from Matt's BBQ, Jimbo's Pizza, and the musical stylings of some of the best local bands. Tickets will be sold at the door for $15. Help support the community by participating in our 50/50 Raffle, Gift Basket Raffle, and Punch-a-Bunch Board. Event is rain or shine. All sales are final. Outside food and beverage is prohibited.
