The trolley tour will include among other sites, the Burial Grounds of the Presbyterian Church, Fairview Cemetery, Westfield’s Black professional zone, Brightwood Park and places where Zora Neale Hurston, Langston Hughes, and Paul Robeson lived.
The tour, which will run rain or shine, begins at the Presbyterian Church parking lot on Mountain Avenue. Seats on the tour are limited and registration is required. There is a $10 registration fee. Proceeds will be used to further the MLK Association’s work, specifically its African American History Project. There are three time slots on June 19th, at 10am, noon and 2pm.
