Smart Women Finish 1st July 24, 2021 Smart Women Finish 1st is a networking opportunity that allows women of all ages to build relationships/partnerships while creating positive and motivational experiences for our younger generations of ladies. Our mission is to inspire, encourage and support our young ladies; motivating them to develop a strong work ethic, and giving them the tools needed to discover their own purpose and vision that will unlock their leadership potential. The Founder, Lakesha Cooper, struggled as a young lady through her own journey of self-discovery. She possessed the desire and interest, but didn’t know what to do or how to begin the process of pursuing those interests. Later, after establishing herself as a successful business woman, she realized that there wasn’t enough support for our future leaders and became inspired to assist them; creating this event to allow others to collaborate and ensuring that all women, regardless of age, get the encouragement, resources, and support they need. On July 24, 2021, all attendees will hear from guest speakers from all disciplines. These respected and accomplished speakers have been strategically selected so that their story will be relatable to the attendees and can provide a road map to creating positive change and successful outcomes. Lakesha Cooper founded Smart Women Finish 1st because as a young lady she remembers not really knowing what she wanted to do or how to begin the process of discovery for things that she showed interest in doing. Now as an established business women she realized a lot of the resources weren’t available and with this event it allows others to collaborate to be sure all women regardless of age get the encouragement, resources, and support they need.  Not to stop there, Smart Women Finish 1st is also a resource to help young ladies who became mothers at an early age and are feeling like all options are unattainable. Lakesha Cooper would like to thank her strategic business partners Holmes Personal Care and R. LIFE. These are two organization that are true to the community, and is playing a tremendous part at ensuring this event success.
