Are you Black? Are you Queer? Do you like cookouts? If you answered yes to all 3 questions, then come on out to the Black Queer Cookout! The Black Queer Cookout is a safe space for Black LGBTQIA+ Folx in the RDU to gather together on Juneteenth and celebrate all things Black & Queer! There will be food, games, music and more! Non-Black & Non-Queer allies are welcome to attend, but remember: this is a safe space that is centering BLACK QUEER PEOPLE, so come correct or prepare to get checked! Where: Method Community Park Picnic Shelter, 514 Method Road, Raleigh, NC 27607 When: 4PM-7PM COVID-19 Precautions: Masks are not required for entry, but are welcome to be worn. Hand sanitizer will be made available.
