Join the team at Sage Real Estate Co. for prime viewing of Julian's annual 4th of July parade. Celebrate the first large community event in Julian in over a year as we pay homage to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Water, soft drinks, and snacks will be provided. Please bring a chair, sunscreen, and head covering. Keep in mind that parking will be limited in town and a large crowd is expected. We will be set up by 9:00 am for those wishing to arrive early. Pre-Parade Events: 10:00 and 11:30, Two flyovers by vintage aircraft. 10:00-11:45 (In front of Brick Building -old bank), A Gunfight with Julian Doves & Desperados. Patriotic Musical Presentations: Audience will be invited to assist with unfurling an enormous American flag and kick off the parade with a procession down Main Street. Post-parade events: Barbecue, music, dancing at the American Legion. Julian Woman’s Club Historic Quilt Show Things you should know: Main Street closes to traffic at 9 a.m.; follow directions to the nearest parking lot. FREE Public toilets will be available next to the brick building and behind Town Hall. Parade staging area at Julian High School, participants only please. We hope you will join us.
