Description
Join us for a relaxing, replenishing extended weekend self-care getaway to center, connect, recalibrate, and find balance in your life. Escape to a quaint farmhouse on a beautiful ten acre farm in Columbia, Tennessee. The Little House at Sunnybrook Farm is a place to spiritually rest and creatively reconnect in a rustic, country-side setting. The main focus of this lovely three day self-care retreat is to nurture your mind and body and reflect on and creatively implement balance within your life. Being in nature allows the prefrontal cortex, our executive brain in charge of planning and higher order thinking, to slow down and rest, like an overused muscle. By measuring brainwaves, scientists are discovering that nature improves our health, happiness, and intellect. The retreat will consist of expressive-based self-care activities, intimate, connected group discussions, time to align with nature, and personal moments to center and explore the beautiful, peaceful, tranquil farm. We will dedicate time to intentionally reflect on our inner purpose and desires and to determine necessary resources and steps for self-empowerment and growth. We will be led in creation of an altered journal throughout the weekend to utilize as a visual representation of the self-care messages we want to continue to manifest upon conclusion of the event. The retreat will be held from 9am-5pm each day. Evenings will be dedicated to you in your own space to reconnect with yourself. Attendees can also collectively gather and explore outside the farm in the evening, depending on interest. For those who are interested in exploring, discovering, and/or simply enjoying the surrounding areas, Nashville is approximately 45 minutes away from the farm. Space is limited.
