We are two visual artists, comics creators and zinesters who are not limited to one medium (also screen printing and tie die happening here on occasion). I am not sure if teaching remotely will continue to be a thing, but I did a bunch of that from here over the past year and recently I've actually started having a couple of private students come through the studio occasionally. Looking for a 3rd artist to join our little artist community. Hoping to add another creator to the mix, ideally with somewhat similar art practices, but not necessarily. Generally no toxic fumes (there's some outside space if you have to spray something) and low noise impact. Open to kind humans of all colors/genders/orientation etc, we are both queer women of color who practice and appreciate clear compassionate communication. We share a lovely 400 square feet studio in Northwest Berkeley with a whole wall of windows and beautiful afternoon light, a private bathroom and street access in great location. $350 a month includes rent, all utilities and wifi.
