At Mad Science, we’ve been bringing science to life for Seattle area children for almost 20 years (and millions more around the world!). Summer camps, birthdays, workshops and special events; in-person or online, our programs are a blast! Being a Mad Scientist is more than just a job, it’s probably one of the most rewarding (and fun) jobs you’ll ever have. As a Mad Scientist, you will lead children through hands-on science experiments, demonstrations and outdoor activities. We provide paid training, the curriculum and all materials. You provide: • Enthusiasm and high energy while being responsible, reliable and dependable • Comfortable working with groups of children • A passion for science is important but a background in science education is not necessary • Must have a car & valid driver’s license and pass a background check Most activities will be in-person and will require us to follow the safety guidelines established by our customers. While not a condition of employment, we will not have a lot of assignments if you are unwilling to follow their safety requirements which may include being vaccinated, wearing masks, social distancing, etc. Apply today!
