Lead Guitarist, with chops, wanted ‘Now’ for established Classic County & Marketplace ‘Cover Band’ CrossFires main purpose of this band is to ‘have fun’ play well and Not sweat getting paid the equivalent of Musician Union Fees. This means we are seeking like-minded musicians who have ‘been there done that’ and who are NOT seeking $$$’s only. Naturally we will always seek remuneration but it is not a ‘deal breaker’ as we have members who will play pro-bono. CrossFire is composed of seasoned players who have the time and money to ‘have a great time playing and being part of a ‘band family. We are committed to making people smile with excellent musicianship seeking to provide a ‘well rounded’ dance and party band for the right venue and ministry band to the elderly, in assisted living homes, and our veterans. If you consider yourself a ‘gun for hire’ then we have those professionals available after networking here in Las Vegas for 6 years now and are not looking for ‘prima donnas’ or musicians who think they are ’better than’ and who are always seeking more $$$’s. It’s Ok for you to only want to play for the paying gigs based upon the venue and familiarity with our song list. We do have the potential venues lined up based on our preparedness for 3 sets. That means we have to rehearse together to get ‘tight’. You need to have your own equipment & transportation...singing is a plus. We are big on vocals. Please be sober and considerate of the Band Time. There will be plenty of time for us to bond as a band and relax. We have expanded our venue to popular dance tunes covering the 40’s to the 90’s this includes Country Swing, Country Rock, R&R, Pop, Americana, Cajun - Zydeco. Our set list is geared for 3 sets. We are well connected Locally and looking to make some $'s at the local clubs, private parties, restaurants & outdoor events. We rehearse at our home in Henderson every week. Note: we can be flexible on the rehearsal days or work with you privately. Note: We use Band Helper as an application for sharing songs and set-lists although we can use other means for charts. Pam & I have been playing in a variety of bands in Los Angeles for 30+ years and have established CrossFire ‘The Band’ here in Henderson/Las Vegas for 5 years now with 3 core members and 6 satellite guest members for different genres.
