LAKE GROVE, NY — It's a girl! A baby was successfully delivered in a Lake Grove parking lot on Tuesday afternoon thanks to advice from Stephanie Bukowinski, a Suffolk County FRES Emergency Service Dispatcher trainee. Bukowinski, over the phone, helped the girl's parents bring her into the world, according to a Facebook post from the organization. The mother, while in labor, called at 3:13 p.m. while she was in the car with her husband. The duo was trying to get to a nearby hospital and asked for an ambulance to be dispatched.
