Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/05/2021 211562111 Preliminary information:  On June 5, 2021 at around 10:52 p.m., officers responded to 464 Edgewood Ave NE on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located the gunshot victim at 443 Edgewood Ave NE.  He was transported to the hospital alert, conscious and breathing.  Witnesses on scene described the shooter as being a black male and possibly wearing a black shirt and red shorts.  The suspect fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.  Investigators were notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.     Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.   UPDATE:  Upon further investigation on scene, officers located a male near the crime scene who appeared to have been seriously physically assaulted.  The male stated he was involved in a verbal altercation with one of the males in a group when they all began to physically assault him and in turn, he shot one of them.  He was transported to the hospital with multiple facial injuries and is listed in stable condition.   Investigators were able to speak with multiple witnesses and the men who were involved in the physically altercation.  Upon completion of their investigation, Investigators arrested: Sadek Robinson (gunshot victim) Leon Buie III Leon Buie IV Louis Williams David Beckford All were charged with Aggravated Battery and Robbery  This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
