Description
Need someone to clean out 2 irrigation water storage tanks. The tanks will be empty, but have a layer of sludge on the bottom that needs to be scooped out. Then the tanks needs to be rinsed.
One tank is 500 gals., the other is about 1,000 gals. (See the pictures)
Just to be clear, this is kind of a gross job (which is why it pays so much). The tanks smell bad and the sludge is slimy. The sludge is like 4-6 inches deep. It's mostly gunk that has accumulated over the years while the tanks stored water for irrigation.
You WILL need to climb into the tanks to clean them. You'll be scooping the sludge into a bucket, then dumping the bucket into a larger pail.
I'd guess it will take about 4 hours to clean both tanks. They need to be cleaned in the next couple of days.
$35 per hour.
