Established in 2012, ReRunRoom offers a curated collection of vintage furniture and decor nationwide through ReRunRoom.com and other online selling platforms. Seattle shoppers are welcome to visit our Central District showroom by appointment, but soon we will have regular open hours on Saturdays. We’re looking for someone who can work independently and will take an active role in growing our small business. Main responsibilities: Manage brick & mortar location on Saturdays 11am-5pm, tasks include: Customer Service Ring sales Help load furniture Answer shop phone/texts Dust/polish furniture Sweep/vacuum floor Tidy desk area and supplies Upkeep merchandise display Flexible 8-16 (approx) hours during week listing merchandise, tasks include: Write description including accurate measurements Assess and describe vintage condition Set selling price (with guidance) Set shipping price Post to appropriate platform- Chairish, OfferUp, Etsy, Craigslist, DePop Occasionally assist with item photography Occasionally assist with moving large furniture items Requirements: Availability to work onsite Saturdays 11am-5pm Reliable with good communication skills Experience selling vintage online Experience with several online selling platforms Experience shipping items Knowledge of vintage clothing and/or furniture Comfortable learning new technology Comfortable working independently Able to safely lift pieces of furniture Excellent, confident face-to-face customer service (bartenders, baristas- I wanna talk to you!) Bonus: You have had vintage business (like through Etsy) You have had a handmade/craft business Photoshop skills Social media skills Furniture fix up skills (could get more hours) Own a van or truck (could pick up extra work delivering local items) For almost 10 years, ReRunRoom has been a one person company. I am so excited to bring on a part-time team member who is as obsessed with vintage as I am! Your opinion and feedback will be welcomed and appreciated. Your time and hard work will be respected and valued. This will be a contract position for the first 3 months with the potential for transitioning to a permanent employee position after that.
