Forming Cover/Variety Band For Live Performance

Heeeelllloooo Lansing! Forming a new Variety/Cover band in the area and looking for members. Goals = A solid group of talented and seasoned musicians to develop a set list for live performance in local and regional venues and events. This should be fun first and foremost, but, a professional attitude is also a must for any gigging band. Style = Looking to play a variety of songs, mostly rock/pop oriented from the 50's through today, however open to any song that works. Also open to interesting reimaginations of popular songs. Visual style a thing to discuss. Musicians = Guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals. I am around 40 and looking to play with folks within about 10 years on either side, but would consider overall ability and fit of any musician. Otherwise a diverse group would be welcomed. Stage presence is a plus. If you are like me, the last year has been rough for playing music with anyone, much less out at gigs. But, with vaccines rolled out, things are finally improving and I am ready to start working with a group on a set list in preparation for playing out in the area. I play several instruments, so right now I am looking for any and all positions! I have some space for try out and rehearsal, but am also open to playing at another member's space or even renting space with a reliable team.
