This is extremely hard for me to do, but I need to rehome my best friend. His name is Aslan and he’s a 50/50 mix of a black lab and a Rottweiler. He’s about 90 pounds, 4 years old, and needs to run often. He will require a home check, and needs a home without any small children (10 younger) as his tail is whip-like. He is extremely human friendly and the biggest cuddle bug on the planet. On the other hand, we ran into an incident that changed his life and mine forever. He was attacked by a pitbull that was off leash. This has changed his demeanor to the point I am scared to let him near uncut male/female dogs. He has tried to attack/bite but only dogs that are NOT neutered or spayed. The pitbull taught him dominate/insecure behavior and I don’t have the necessary money/time to correct it. With proper training this dog would be perfect as he is a great listener and has been amazing up till this tragic accident. Aslan has a $250 rehoming fee to assure he is going to someone who can afford the necessary training he’ll need. Aslan is also an escape artist, so your fence to the backyard needs to be at least 5 feet tall. The rehoming fee is negotiable, as long as I can get proof that he will be put into training/into the right hands. He is up to date on all shots and has no health issues whatsoever.
