Organic, regenerative, pasture based livestock farm seeking hard working and responsible farm hand. Farm runs with a multi-talented crew, flexibility and ability to adapt to new tasks and take instructions is key. Farm raise cows, pigs, chickens and sheep as well as operating a micro dairy and laying hen flock. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in learning the day to day operations of a small organic farm, and enjoys working with animals. We are a close knit team, ability to work well in a group and to follow procedures is important. Responsibilities include feeding and tending to animals, hauling and lifting, cleaning up, and yard work. The ideal candidate must be strong, able to lift 50lbs, have transportation, ideally live with in a short commute, and excellent communication skills. The schedule will vary weekly but definitely includes Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: 7AM-4PM. This is a temporary position with potential for long term position. To apply: 1.
