Seven acre farm on conservation land in southern New Hampshire, with 200 newly planted fruit trees, a kitchen garden, chickens and bees, a greenhouse, and gorgeous flowers, in an idyllic setting on a quiet country road. 1800's farmhouse with 4 bedrooms. We are seeking a farmer to rent the property, perhaps with a family, and live on-site while tending the orchard and gardens, and help the owners with additional duties related to the property. Qualifications include experience with orchards and organic farming methods, excellent mechanical aptitude to maintain the tractor and equipment, high-level resourcefulness and ability to resolve unexpected problems. The landowners live on the property, and would like to enjoy seasonal farm-fresh flowers, eggs, fruits and vegetables, and share with their friends and family. All of the surplus you produce is yours to sell to a local co-op or market. Income from this small farm and our added compensation are not sufficient, so you will need to have a outside work or another means of financial support.
