Jaxon Furniture Assembly & Installation is a home service business, specializing in home furnishing installations. A lot of our projects consist of tasks like furniture assembly (think IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, and more), TV Mounting, hanging pictures, and installing custom closets. This is a fast paced environment that can see new and different clients multiple times a day. We’re currently looking to add an installer to our team, completing service calls for the listed tasks and dealing directly with our customers. Someone who will go the extra mile to deliver the best possible experience for them. This person prioritizes excellent craftsmanship, efficiency, and customer service all at the same level. This candidate will take ownership of the role, being the face of the company as they’ll be the one visiting clients, solving problems as needed, and ensuring satisfaction for everyone involved. Responsibilities - Assemble and Install Furniture, understanding that these are items personally purchased by clients, so it’s important to understand how to read instructions and treat the space respectfully. - Mount TVs, pictures, shelves, artwork, and decor onto walls. Attention to detail is key as being off-level by a few millimeters will be noticed. - Offer guidance and advice to clients to ensure their needs are met and their items are being installed properly. You’ll be the authority on the subject and they’ll be turning to you for answers. - The ability to take a leadership position when working with other installers and subcontractors on bigger/larger-scale builds. Qualifications - Strong knowledge and familiarity with power tools and hand tools. Our training only focuses on company procedures and standards. You’ll be expected to hit the ground running with your knowledge of all the basics. - A reliable vehicle and clean driving record. You’ll be visiting multiple clients throughout the day or be asked to meet at different worksites. Gas stipend will be included. - 2+ Years of experience in the handyman, tradesman, builder, construction, or similar field. - 2+ years of experience in customer or client-facing roles (retail, sales, agency, etc.) If you think all these elements describe you perfectly, we’d love to hear from you.
