This is a series of 6 workshops for child actors (or those interested in acting) which may result in a role in Hansberry's next production. Willie Abney, Creative Director of Hansberry-Sands Theatre Company (Wisconsin's oldest black theater company), is well known for his ability to bring the acting genius out of anyone. He's presenting a series of 6 workshops for child actors (or those interested in acting) which may result in a role in Hansberry's next on stage production. If you have a child aged 6-17 years old who is outgoing and wants to harness their talent, or shy and secretly dreams of wielding their star power, this workshop series is perfect for them. Simply RSVP here and bring your child to the WI African American Women's Center where you can register on the spot. Consecutive workshop dates (Saturdays at 2:00pm-3:30pm @ the Women's Center) are as follows: May 15, May 22, May 29, June 5, June 12 and June 19.
