ISO small breed dog

I'm looking to adopt a small breed dog sometime in September. I would prefer a female only because I am outnumbered in my household. I would like to find a small companion to be my best friend. I am a stay at home mom. My family is my husband, 3 boys (11,7 &6), 2 male cats and 1 male dog. We live on a farm so there is lots of room to roam and play but the dog would be indoors for the most part. I am home most of the time and we homeschool so the kids and I would give the dog lots of attention and love. I'm willing to pay a rehoming fee but my limit would be around $200-$300. It would be awesome to find a dog that is already spayed, potty trained and crate trained but I'm willing to put in the work myself if you have a dog that would be a great match for my family.
