Niyafath Cakpo will be teaching an Afro dance class! Come learn, Have fun, enjoy and express your personality’s through Afro dance. Niyafath Cakpo is an Afrobeat dancer from Benin Republic and has been teaching Afro dance in Seattle since 2017. Afro dance is a diverse style originated from SubSharan Africa. It is an evolution from Traditional African dance styles following the creation of Afro beat music. Throughout Niyafath dance career, she performed in Canada as an open stage dancer for one of the Nigeria biggest Artist “Burna boy”. Besides performing around, she teaches beginners and advanced level afro classes in different studios in Seattle and is looking to merge into teaching all around Washington and around the world. She strongly believes in the importance of human relationship and has the ability to address social problems while serving people in need. Niyafath believes in Dance Movement Therapy and is looking forward to merge both her passion to assist communities in need.
