Description
Learn what it takes to become a Columbus Gives Back Event Leader and a facilitator of our awesome social service community! Looking to become a leader in making a difference around central Ohio and helping others do the same? Do you like meeting new people, doing good work, and discovering more about our great communities? Want to be a part of one of the most rewarding organizations in all of Columbus? What: We are incredibly grateful for the event leaders that make each Columbus Gives Back opportunity a fun experience for our volunteers and a meaningful one for our non-profit partners. They truly are the lifeblood of all that we do at Columbus Gives Back to connect young professionals and engage them in our communities. As we continue to expand our reach, grow the impact we have across more and more non-profit partners in central Ohio, and bring together more and more young professionals for social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities, we are looking to increase the number (and diversity!) of trained event leaders to bring the #cbusgivesback experience to more people and more of the communities we love. We are hosting a session on what it means to be an official Columbus Gives Back event leader and how to become part of one of the biggest things happening in Columbus! Join us for an evening at one of our favorite breweries, hear about our ambitious and exciting vision, and how and why you should be a part of bringing Columbus a little bit closer and a lot more fun! When: Thursday, June 24th, 6pm – 7:00pm Where: West Bank Park; We will meet on the steps between COSI and the river for the info session and then walk over to Land Grant or Brewdog for our social twist! Who: Anybody 21+ years of age that is excited about meeting people, learning about the needs of our city and those that strive to meet them, and facilitating fun and meaningful group volunteer experiences! We are especially interested in expanding representation across race, religion, sexuality, able-bodiedness, geography, and work schedules! Please pass along this invite and opportunity if you know someone who would be a great fit!
