The Run for One 5k - Presented by Becky's Blessings is a fun run in which the proceeds go to CURE International, a non-profit organization The Run for One 5k - Presented by Becky's Blessings is a fun run in which the proceeds go to CURE International, a non-profit organization delivering life-changing surgery and the good news of God's love to children and families suffering with curable physical disabilities. The run winds thru the open spaces and trails of Highlands Ranch, starting and ending at Mountainview Christian Church. This is a family friendly event, so bring your dogs, strollers, kids and grandparents! There is also a Family Fun Run for kids of all ages that will be approximately 2k. Race Start: 9:00 am Post Race Celebration: 9:30 am til noon There will be post race activities and fun for all runners and their supporters. Location: Mountainview Christian Church, 40 East Highlands Ranch Parkway, Highlands Ranch, CO. Registration will be on the east side of the building. Parking will be in the lot adjacent to the church and Start/Finish will be on the south side. Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration: Please arrive early to check in and receive our goodie bag - Race day check in opens at 7:30 and closes at 8:30 at Mountainview Christian Church. Beneficiary: The promoter of the race is Becky's Blessings Foundation, which will donate the proceeds to CURE International. The monies raised will be used to provide for health care needs for children located around the world. In 2007, our daughter, Rebecca Yarberry was killed in a tragic car accident.   Becky had a heart for people less fortunate than herself. (She especially loved the babies.) She traveled on medical mission trips, fixing “boo boos” and, with her infectious smile; shared the love of God with everyone she’d meet. She was a remarkable young woman, a musician, triathlete, and a friend.   In her memory, Becky’s Blessings Foundation was established to carry on her legacy of helping others, and sharing God’s love and healing to those in need.   Our Mission To share the love of Christ through medical and humanitarian missions around the world.   Our Vision Share God’s love to everyone in memory of Rebecca L. Yarberry (Becky) by raising awareness of the needs of children in developing countries, supporting organizations that provide medical treatment and/or humanitarian aid around the world   Faith Statement “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13   Our Goals · Continue Becky’s work of “fixing others Boo-Boos”.
