Description

Artist Patricia Aaron and the community artists of The Reciprocity Collective share how creativity is a basic human need. Patricia Aaron shares insights and a demo of her creative processes along with her current exhibit, Mile Markers. Patricia is donating a portion of the proceeds of her work sold during the event to benefit the community work of The Reciprocity Collective. Meet the community artists of The Reciprocity Collective and further understand the value of creative voice to tell stories of lives and perspectives different from our own. Creativity is a basic human need, like shelter and food, and when allowed to bloom in the shadow of dehumanizing views of homelessness, gives us all the space to better understand the whole of our community. Practicing the belief that Vital Connections build Vibrant Communities, The Reciprocity Collective seeks and fosters partnerships between the business and nonprofit communities to respectfully and effectively guide individuals from communities of Poverty and Homelessness forward in sustainable employment, purpose, and health to realize their potential of fully enriched lives for themselves and their families. The Reciprocity Collective demonstrates how we can all work together, with existing infrastructure, to achieve the goals of sustained employment and purpose to build healthy vibrant communities
