Description

Join the Mile High WorkShop and our community to reconnect, have fun and dream about the future together. Who’s Invited? You are! If you’re a program alumni, donor, business partner, community member, nonprofit partner, board member, staff member, friend of a friend or just curious about what we’re up to, we’d love to see you there. What’s Happening? Join us for some summer fun with friends new and old! Amaaaaazing food truck (free to you) from our friends at SAME CafeConnecting with anyone and everyone who’s working to build a more accessible and equitable economy in the Denver metro. Games, activities, food, raffles, networking, door prizes, and more...Why Should You Come? Because it’s been way too long since we’ve seen each other and we miss you! And we hope you feel the same about us. This event really isn’t a fundraiser and we won’t be making an “ask” but we’re always grateful for your support and won’t turn any donations away at the park ;) The Mile High WorkShop is an employment and job training program for those facing barriers to work through the manufacturing and production of handmade goods. The Denver-based WorkShop provides contract manufacturing services incut & sew, woodworking, laser etching/cutting, handmade assembly, and packaging/fulfillment services, in order to employ men and women rebuilding from homelessness, addictions, and incarceration.
