Within the past two years, Luke has expanded from a 5-piece to a 12-piece band. He's a classic crooner with a warm stage presence, and the band delivers a unique and sophisticated sound with great dance music by George Gerswhin, Nelson Riddle, Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, Louis Armstrong, and Wynton Marsalis. Carlsen says, “It’s 100 years after the Jazz Age began, and I am playing a small part in continuing to breathe life into this sensual, complex, and romantic music. I would not be able to do this if not for the people who still love this music like I do. So, I thank them for giving me the joy to entertain them.” Jazzville at the Cascade Lounge offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting with pristine acoustics, unobstructed sight lines, and plush seating.
