Have fun and meet some interesting peopleEat, drink and celebrate the summer solstice Sunset over Downtown ATL from Jackson Street BridgeTotal distance (one-way) is about two milesWe will walk at an easy paceWe will be walking along the proposed route of the Atlanta Streetcar East Extension (see image and video below)Dogs are welcome (although some restaurants may not allow pets)Adults only (minimum age = 21)Experienced tour guide on hand to answer questions about the areaItinerary New Real Brewing Rooftop, 5:00 - 5:45Ladybird, 6:00 - 6:45Sister Louisa's, 7:00 - 7:45Walk through MLK Nat'l Historical Park, 8:00Jackson Street Bridge, 8:15 (sun sets at 8:51)NOTE: The event ends at the Jackson Street Bridge after the sun sets at 8:51. You can walk back to the starting point or your next destination with other participants or on your own. The return walk is about 1.5 miles.
