CREW LEADER REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS -Must have truck, valid driver license, pull a trailer -Responsible for cutting down, pruning, or trimming branches, leaves, and roots from trees. -Must be able to get jobs done that don't require a climber. -Must skillfully operate chainsaws & equipment. -Assemble crew and delegate each crew member their responsibility for that job. -Consistently emphasizing safety compliance & attention to detail. I don't half ass do any job. I have high standards. -Demonstrate onsite leadership & overall direction for crew members - Time Management working to tight deadlines to ensure priorities are met -Move with Purpose -Applied knowledge safely running ropes for a climber -Applied knowledge various common knots -Applied knowledge of the falling techniques -Assist climber -Applied skills for rigging -Ability to complete labor intensive work outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat & cold GROUNDS HAND -Hauling brush & wood -Prepare for work day with required equipment & tools loaded on vehicles, be sure all tools are secure for travel including a trailer loaded with brush, wood, etc -Ensure equipment is well maintained & accounted for prior to & after completion of each job. -Remove limbs & debris to disposal area (raking & basic yard clean up included) -Ability to complete labor-intensive work outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions including extreme heat & cold. -Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis -Follow direction efficiently & complete all tasks to the highest standard. -Ability to perform maintenance repairs and upkeep of equipment like sharpening chains -Efficiently load & unload a trailer -Adaptable work requires frequent shifts in direction *Second Chance Employer *Felons encouraged to apply *Recovering addicts/alcoholics encouraged to apply *Drug Free Work Place *No Cell Phone while performing dangerous tasks on a job site *Pay is negotiable *Full & Part time work available for both positions with option to contract or come on board as an employee of Rebel Tree Service
