Seeking friends for a Band, gigs, or projects 38y/o

I've played guitar for a long time, but I'd really like to learn to sing better. I'd like to find some close friends to work with and develop songs. I'm also looking to do some karaoke. I'm interested in art in terms of exploring that which is subversive and transgressive. I like Rock music and older heavy metal, as well as some industrial and martial industrial. I feel like my unpolished songs are a bit more Rock/Blues however. I want to explore sexuality, violence, gender, and obscenity. Anyhow, are there any Rock & Rollers or like, metalheads still around in this town? I'm totally open to just friends or like, singers that might have a different vocal range and working with them. THX
